"Kinky Crafts" with Master Erik
Thursday, July 19, 2007 8PM-10PM (doors open at 7:30PM)
SF Citadel - 1277 Mission Street
San Francisco, CA

Admission: $20

C'mon now - It's happened to us all...walking into a leathers store, browsing through racks of beautiful crafted BDSM toys, & either leaving empty-handed because of the high prices or spending hundreds of dollars for just one single toy. For many of us, affording new toys is just not always economical! That is, until NOW!

Master Erik explains the basics on how to get started with making your own toys at an unbelieveably low price! This workshop will cover finding, selecting, & buying the right materials for the right sensations, basic knots used in toymaking, 2, 3, & 4-strand braiding, working with rattan & bamboo, and the care & treatment of leather toys. In the second part of the workshop, everyone will have the oppourtunity to make their very own functional rope flogger! To encourage future toymaking, a 4-page instructional sheet will also be given out to attendees to take home.

MATERIALS NEEDED FOR THE CLASS: 30' of 3/8" NYLON ROPE, ANY COLOR (NOT PROVIDED)

Master Erik has been involved in the BDSM lifestyle for 20 years, the last 7 years in the SF Bay Area. He is a devoted SF Citadel Volunteer Staffperson, a member of the Dungeon Monitors Association, and has donated countless hours abroad as an Event Coordinator, Dungeon Security, and Workshop Presenter. His handcrafted "weapons of ass destruction" can be seen--and felt!--most weekends at SF Citadel play parties.

  • Hey, that's a nice write-up there. :)
Before I got to the last paragraph, I'd already said "hmm, this wasn't written by a newbie--- I think this person must have been a presenter and in the scene for a long time". LOL, then scrolled down. Well, yeah, I guess so!

I'm too far away, but sounds like it was fun. :)
