So, my idea was to crack up my workshop description a little by asking the topics I mentioned one by one.
So first of all, is gender relevant in the scenes you play?
Is being a certain gender even the major thing that gets you off?
Is it the one you have in your daily life or another one?
Do you switch genders whilst playing?
Do you prefer one gender over the other?
Is being another gender a reward or a punishment/humiliating to you?
And many, many more questions that come to my mind...

Re: gendered play
Thu, September 30, 2004 - 6:26 AMGay men (in my experiance) dont go in for the gender play very much at all. I have a few ideas why this would be. Most of them involve gay man having regressive and outdated concepts of gender.
Kind of like the same reason trans really blew up when the numbers of FTMs started to grow. A bio-male "backsliding" into less privlaged female-hood was considored a curiosity and a rarity. A bio-female who dares to have the audacity to assume any degree of male privlage is much more attention grabbing, as it is more threatening to the status quo.
Many gay men have faught long and hard to express their masculinity, so they find such "backsliding" distasteful. Predominantly white, privlaged, males are very loathe to give up that privlage, even for a few minutes in the bedroom. Stupid fucks. Bending yer gender and coming out the other end intact could only strengthen your appreciation of your own masculinity. -

Re: gendered play
Thu, September 30, 2004 - 12:50 PMYeah, but that might be the difference between political views and things that make you hot. I think there is an erotized view on gay men from some dykes, but no man thinks of dykes or lesbians as "hot". Hm. Don´t know why that is, I like both sides.
I like to play with several genders. I am more vulnerable as a girl, because in real life I don´t know how to act cool when a guy starts diggin. When I play as a male character, I don´t feel these insecurities. -

Re: gendered play
Thu, September 30, 2004 - 9:23 PMI don't know about either of your assumptions. I know gay boys that think dykes and girls are hot. I know dykes that think fags are hot. I've b=played with both fags and dykes and they both like to fuck with gender but then again I'm a genderfucker in my life so I attract those folks.
I like to play mascline roles femme and feminine roles butch. for example a masculine nurse but a very swishy army sargent. -

Re: gendered play
Fri, October 1, 2004 - 12:00 AMHere Here Turtle. I think fags are hot and I know plenty of fag boys that think dykes are hot. I like to fuck around with gender..personally I like to play faggy boy and be topped by a very dominant femme or some butch daddy. I also like when there is no specific gender assignment...not male or female..very hot to me. I also like the contrast that you mention turtle with the roles of masculine nurse and swishy army sargent...in my experience it creates an intense dissonce.

Re: gendered play
Fri, October 1, 2004 - 7:00 AM*raises hand* One fag right here who think dykes are hot.
Of course, every time a girl (str8 or dyke) hits on me I get unaccountably frightened. I cant explain it. Im interested, very interested, in having queer sex with a queer girl. But any time the barest inkling of a chance starts to rear its head I beat a hasty retreat. *sigh* Any suggestions for a bi-furious boy?
(Bi-Furious...its like bi-curious, only your obstinante monosexuality keeps pissing you off)
